Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your family’s use of The Now Academy’s programs, website, and digital campus (Heartbeat). By enrolling your child or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Enrollment & Admissions

• Kindergarten Entry Only: The Now Academy enrolls new students only at the Kindergarten level each year. Students advance with their cohort through 12th grade.
• No Re-Admission Policy: If a student withdraws and attends another school, they cannot be re-admitted to The Now Academy, to preserve the integrity and continuity of our program.
• Track Flexibility: Families may choose between Hybrid Enrollment and Homeschool Track on an annual basis. Changes may be made before each new school year.

2. Tuition & Fees

• Hybrid Enrollment: $18,000 per year (installments available: bi-annual, quarterly, monthly).
• Homeschool Track: $7,000 per year (installments available: bi-annual, quarterly, monthly).
• Application Fee: $75 (non-refundable).
• Refunds: Tuition refunds are not provided after the school year begins, except in extraordinary circumstances at the school’s discretion.

3. Financial Aid & Scholarships

• Aid is available on a limited basis.
• Families must submit aid applications within two weeks of submitting their school application.
• Referral credits and early-bird discounts may be offered at the school’s discretion.

4. Parent Responsibilities

By enrolling, parents agree to:

• Support the Program: Ensure their child attends required classes (Hybrid: 3 days on campus; Homeschool: 4 required events per year).
• Uphold Values: Partner with us in teaching respect, integrity, service, and biblical principles.
• Digital Oversight: Supervise their child’s use of the digital campus (Heartbeat), especially for children under 13.
• Timely Payment: Meet tuition and fee obligations promptly.

5. Student Conduct

Students are expected to:

• Show Respect: Treat peers, teachers, and staff with kindness.
• Engage Fully: Participate in lessons, projects, and community activities.
• Use Technology Wisely: Follow school guidelines for digital campus participation (no inappropriate content, harassment, or sharing login credentials).

Violations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension from the digital campus or school dismissal in serious cases.

6. Digital Campus (Heartbeat)

• Access: Families receive login credentials for spaces including courses, chats, documents, and office hours.
• Moderation: All activity is monitored to ensure safety, civility, and compliance with school guidelines.
• Privacy: The Now Academy complies with FERPA and COPPA to protect student information. Parents may request access to or deletion of their child’s information as allowed by law.

7. Intellectual Property

• All curriculum, teaching materials, and digital campus resources are the property of The Now Academy.
• Parents and students may use these resources for personal, educational purposes only.
• Materials may not be copied, distributed, or sold without written permission.

8. Events & Attendance

• Hybrid Track: Students must attend 3 days per week on campus, with 2 days online.
• Homeschool Track: Students and families must attend at least 4 school-wide events per year (e.g., Cultural Exchange Days, Project Showcases, Winter Festival, Graduation).

9. Limitation of Liability

The Now Academy provides education and community support “as is.” While we strive to provide excellent service, we are not liable for damages arising from:

• Technology interruptions, outages, or third-party services.
• Parent or student misuse of the digital campus.
• Unforeseen circumstances (e.g., public health, weather, emergencies).

10. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Effective Date.” Continued participation constitutes agreement with updated Terms.
